Ray Mears, the only consistently good thing about Television for the past 20 years or so. A Genius & Gentleman.
That’s Americans for you , can’t do nothing correct or look after there own , disgraceful
That's people who never served on a Navy ship for you, clueless on how things work
I can watch this over and over , Ray is amazing
That's what I said booty traps
Nettles pan fry relatively well (especially in butter, though our hunter gatherer ancestors wouldn't have that).
That hair line🤣💀
Bombay theme tune lol wtf
Respect to working with nature amen
Dr. Walden passed away on Jan. 23, 2020.
Very interesting documentary. Not stereotypical in its format. Very original.
Gordon was an interesting and intelligent man. R.I.P.
Good documentary.
Not watchable. The man must decide whether he's doing a music video or a bushcraft video. This mindless jangle is skull breaking.
The u.s navy does the same training...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 No they dont
Court martial for frost bite damn. I guess the US equivalent would be getting fat
My heart weeps with the old pictures of my blood ancestors the true Americans, and a respect to Ray who came and walked in our shoes respectfully and remembered quietly. God bless from the Native American Nations I Chumash/Apache
Praise the Lord, because he promised to never leave us those who believe in him. Call on his name Jesus in good times and in survival times and be still for he will fight for you
👏
Does anyone know the knife at 11:44?
6 LTRs of water a day! I don't think so ray
Zachary thinks god saved him. Them Indian fisherman I suppose we're a figment of his imagination
Jim, that soft spoken soldier is the precise definition of what it is to be a man. I have absolute respect for him and even not knowing him, just hearing him speak 50 words, I can tell that he is a good man who led a decent life after the awful shit he went through during the war. All those soldiers that were lucky enough to make it back alive should have been given homes and should have been given hefty pensions so that they never had to work again. What they did for the world, they were owed that at the very least. Instead they were put right back to work and made to find jobs in order to feed their families and survive despite the immense ptsd that they damn near ALL would have been suffering with. They did and gave everything so as not to let us down and the moment they got back home, WE let THEM down. Truly disgraceful.
Does anyone know the name of the small hand tool he used to carve the tap for the tree
Thats John Luvits bro with the scorpion😂
This guy is a joke.
Do you get a bowl of rice if someone responds
Very special, no matter how many times I’ve watched this , it’s everything in life
Great content.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this, and the many other shows that Ray Mears has filmed, always interesting and informative whilst being entertaining, have a question for he himself if in any way he answer's, or has answered for him. Or anyone else watching his,or/and this show. Have had answer’s for this question, be interesting to hear his or others answer, what is the best way to keep ticks off you whilst camping. I have a dog and had other's prior to him, so deal by treating him every 3 month's or so, if needed removing them, other than that what’s best way of stopping them, if’s there is one, especially ones from sheep and deer, from getting into and attaching to your body, might be silly question, however, any serious answer's appreciated, thanks in advance,🥃Cheer's.( obviously film is a few years old,and might not be viewed/answered by him,or other's, can only hope for ✔️ s, answer).
When I was younger I used to always enjoy watching him, you can learn so much from him.
Terrible hd
Con man never trusted make believe Brit fools
Nice cover of Willow’s Song from The Wicker Man at 53:41
this is the one thing that always gets me, the availability of flint, here in Australia flint is almost unheard of, it just doesn't occur naturally except in some very secluded places in South Australia. We do have many other useable hard stones, jasper, quartz, and petrified wood but flint is not available.
This is virtually like-for-like replacement for my Wynnster Scorpion 35 that has travelled around world and lasted almost 30 years and still going strong. This one I cannot find a physical display in UK retail outlets so big thanks. Nine year old video is quite a while back. Being phased out / end of stock?
Always amazing to watch Ray Mears and marvel at his skill and knowledge.
Canadians are bloody lucky to be able to have such a large country to travel and live around without a passport unlike the UK particularly after Brexit!!!!
Hillman is now dead, die of Parkinson's in 2018.
Professor Hillman died in 2018 from Parinson's Disease.
Very sad, he was an excellent fellow. You can sort of see the beginnings of it in the way he moves in these programmes.
How sad will archæologists be when we discover time travel and find out cave art was actually a from a game like Pictionary. 😊
music slaps
Fantastic love this
What brand of bivvy bag does he use
Boil your water
I note how he isn't running about shouting like another certain survival expert.
Ray mears help track roal moat. Crazy when you think about it.
National treasure
The plug rots out and you still have a hole in the tree. Does it heal are rot.
Wow that was really well put together, and actually liberating for someone that is thinking of making one of these magnificent craft.
Pretty sure you'd find plasters in the texaco that's within a mile from there
Did he remove the bile??
